His minimal, pristine aesthetics shape monochrome, one-size items created a loyal following beyond conventions and trends, thus paving the way for an impressive international career with vast exporting activity in Europe and the USA reaching its peak with the opening of flagship stores in Brussels and Los Angeles. The designer’s daughter, Orsalia, accompanied her father everywhere, from the atelier and editorial shoots to his travels abroad, demonstrating a keen entrepreneurial spirit and the eye of a talented designer. In 1996, right after completing a BA in History of Art and Architecture in the US and an MA in the History of Dress in the UK, she took over both the creative and business part of the brand, in which she was born and raised. Today the Parthenis look remains timeless and simple with a unisex, easy-living feel, based on the Greek aesthetic of pure elegance.  Today, Orsalia Parthenis carries on her father’s tradition, using natural fibers, wool, silk and cotton in relaxed silhouettes which embrace the body. The Parthenis line is constantly refreshed while remaining true to its core. The brand operates six stand-alone boutiques in Greece, with flagship stores in Athens and Mykonos, alongside an expanding wholesale network.
