In 2002, he began presenting his one-of-a-kind jewelry in well-known galleries and museums in Athens. As a member of the Hellenic Fashion Designers Association, Dimitris Dassios began showcasing his creations in private catwalk shows, in 2005. In 2006, renowned buyer Maria Louisa Poumalliou obtained the entire dassios jewelry collection for her boutiques in Paris and Qatar. A groundbreaking collection of denim jackets that Dimitris Dassios unveils in 2007 is set to become a career milestone. The collection is presented in various showrooms and International Fashion Shows in Milan and Paris, before being purchased by influential fashion boutiques worldwide. The designer applies Haute Couture moulage, a technique in which the fabric is sculptured directly on the mannequin. The dassios prêt-à-porter collections are also created using the same technique, assembled piece by piece by the dassios in-house team, a factor that is distinctive in the field of prêt-à-porter. Each dassios creation is unique as it carries antique and one-of-a-kind, artisanal decoration elements. The dassios collections are also displayed constantly twice a year in Milan and Paris, as well as through the multi-brand showroom Fabre.
